About BK
I started on a forklift.Things got weird from there.
In 2014, BK was driving a forklift at a Walmart distribution center and had reached a pretty simple conclusion: there had to be a better way to spend a life.
So he started trying things.
Since then, he has built, bought, sold, advised and occasionally abandoned more businesses than he can keep straight. Ecommerce stores. Courses. Podcasts. Weird little ideas that probably should not have worked.
Some did. Some definitely did not.
That part is kind of the point.

He likes the starting part.
Give BK a blank page, a weird opportunity or a business problem nobody has figured out yet and he is happy.
Once something is humming along, his brain is usually already asking what else could be built, fixed, bought, sold or made bigger.
That curiosity has led to more than a decade of entrepreneurship, five podcasts and a habit of calling interesting people just to ask them how the hell they did something.
Why "Low Bar"?
Because the bar is usually lower than people think.
- Start the business.
- Take care of yourself.
- Work on your head.
- Protect your money.
- Show up for your people.
- Ask the question. Make the call. Do the obvious thing.
None of this is complicated. That doesn't mean people do it.
Business is simple.People are lazy.
Low Bar started as a business podcast, and entrepreneurship is still at the center of it.
But life has a hell of a lot more low bars than business does.
Who gets on Low Bar?
Fascinating people. That's the rule.
Founders. Operators. Investors. Experts. Weirdos. People with huge audiences. People with no audience at all.
If somebody has done something, knows something or believes something BK genuinely wants to understand, they belong in the conversation.
Fascinating is mandatory. Famous is not.
Also, no solo sermons. BK started a podcast because talking to himself for an hour sounds terrible.
